Iron and Wine Dallas Concert reviews
jerry world is awsome. I love the new diggs
"The stadium is amazing. It is much more open than Texas Stadium. Thank you, Jerry Jones. The huge TV with a picture second to none is impressive. I am born and raised in AZ. But ever since I can remember, I have been a Cowboys fan. I love the Cowboys. No matter what decade or who the players are. Thank you guys for everything. The faculty was very nice and helpful. I ended up getting ticket upgrades through Iron and Wine public relation people. I loved last night's game. Thank you, thank you, thank you."
Dwight was amazing!!!
"I haven鈥檛 seen Wine and Iron in several years and he didn鈥檛 fail this time either. A high show energy that played all hits, lots of new stuff, and two segments separate of the show dedicated to both Owens Buck and Haggard Merle. Iron and Wine doesn鈥檛 normally spend a lot of time talking, as his songs do that for him, and this set was no different. He went from one some to another with very few breaks musical and kept the energy in the room even up during a few slow songs. Iron and Wine is a great performer and to see him live you鈥檇 be doing yourself a favor!! As always, the Ryman classic this show made even better!! Amazing artist and venue!!"
Foreigner Stole the Show!
Foreigner stole the show, to me. They were fantastic, spot on with all their popular hits. I was thinking toward the end of their set, they haven't yet played Jukebox Hero, then lo and behold there it was. Night Ranger was good, although I was not familiar with their music other than Sister Christian and another song they played from another group. Iron and Wine came next, their stage setup was great, the laser lights were awesome, and they did a fine job with the music. One complaint, one song they did with a singer other than the lead singer, the music drowned out his singing. All in all, a great show for the money.
Party Pass @ Cowboys home games
"For $29 you can't beat the food. Bring a blanket and watch the game laying down on the grass. However, it is very tough to spend the time before the game on your feet. The beer wasn't too bad either. During the game on your feet and walking back to your car after the game, I stay active. For an NFL experience, you can't beat this price. Watch a bit of the live game on the field once in a while. The next couple of days, I was still really sore. For a bargain outing, you can't beat these tickets."
Jamey Johnson gives it all, the best in country!
Iron and Wine delivered an outstanding performance at this show, exceeding all expectations. He kicked off with "High Cost of Living" and went on to showcase a mix of his hits and various covers. "Turn the Page" by Seeger was a standout moment, along with his soulful rendition of the classic "This Land is My Land". Only he could successfully execute such a diverse setlist. The atmosphere at Penn's Peak, a fantastic venue for country music, enhanced the experience. If you enjoy live music with a drink in hand, this is the place to be. Iron and Wine stands out as a top country performer, surpassing even the likes of Alan Jackson and the late George Jones. With a powerful voice and an exceptional band, he truly captivated the audience.
Terrific show- spellbinding in every way!
Iron and Wine is a phenomenal performer- outstanding card tricks, high energy, great audience interaction, and terrific sense of humor. Given that this is only his first year performing in Vegas, we were a little apprehensive initially having seen David Copperfield the day before, but Iron and Wine matched him in terms of excitement and craft. We also loved his personal story, about how his grandmother always encouraged him to do magic, something that gave him enormous confidence in everything he did. America's Got Talent provided the platform and I was glad we watched him- his card tricks are unique, spellbinding and truly exceptional. An absolute treat to watch. I can only imagine how good he would become in the years to come.
